Dear Member,
One of these days, while watching a television programme on the History Channel on the making of fighter aircraft, I was quite intrigued with the way we have advanced technologically. The technology involved in the making of fighter aircraft with facilities like short take off, vertical landings are truly amazing. The role companies like, Rolls Royce, Boeing and Lockheed Martin have played in perfecting the art of aircraft manufacturing is indeed commendable.
Similarly, in other fields too, mankind has taken giant steps in various disciplines of knowledge. Take for instance communication. I am sure, some fifteen, twenty years back, none of we ordinary mortals, could ever imagine the facilities hidden in the portals of the Internet. The importance of communication in to day's world is eminently significant. Ignorance of this chapter in our day to day lives would eventually leave us far behind and prove disastrous. So is also in the case of usage of computers to achieve the highest degree of perfection. These factors have to be, adopted amongst us sooner than later.

With the launch of www.ickolkata.com and the computerisation of our billing system, we at International Club have chipped in our contribution, to the growing demands of technology. The fact that, the site will be updated every now and then with current events, is even more endearing.

The site has been constructed carefully, to suit the needs of all members. With the member's directory uploaded, now the members can communicate or gather information about co- members easily. Members may feel free to send their comments on the site and send interesting anecdotes of the club's past. These may be, posted on the web site, for the benefit of fellow Members.

I would like to request all members to come forward and contribute to the cause of our club, be it in any sphere. Your suggestions and valuable opinions will go a long way in the development of the club.
